I've been a coach since 2013. I met Stephen Gillligan's work in 2015 for Generative Trance. I've been assisting Stephen in Morocco since 2018 and for GC with Robert Dilts in Paris since 2020.
I started off working as a corporate trainer almost by chance. I then realized I loved teaching people things they thought they had a hard time with. It was already about what's your relationship with it and creating the right space first. now but I wanted and needed something more. I saw people suffering at work and I had my bit too. That's when I went looking for coaching tools. From then on, I knew that's what I wanted to do, help people overcome their problems and feel better about themselves.
Creative Mind is the beautiful evolution of Stephen's work. I love how each time a training, we get to benefit from his readings, learnings and practice. Creative Mind is like diving really deep into systemic sustainable change. It really connects us deeply with everything and everyone in the quantum field. My commitment is to help inspire more love, wisdom, creativity and joy into the world. I studied with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi from 1967 on to teach people how to meditate.I came to California in 1977 and was lucky enough to meet and study with Milton Erickson, Stephen Gilligan, John Grinder, Robert Dilts a shaman woman, a metaphysician and many other inspiring teachers.I am a counselor and generative coach with a PhD in psychology. I'm really interested in how to navigate these times of deep adaptation, how we can be fully human and mature into much-needed elders for our communities - creating a more beautiful world rooted in generosity and life-affirming community, in service to the environment and humanity.
Much of my work centres around rites of passage - ways to collectively honour and support important life transitions in Nature, fundamental for both the health of the individual and community. Blending ancient wisdom with contemporary insight.
Alongside this I am totally in love with the Focusing method which I love to teach - often weaving Steve's sympatico practices into 'the field'.

I've been practicing Chinese medicine for 20 years now, and have known and studied with Steve for 25. My passions are alchemical transformation and generative states of consciousness. I am engaged in ongoing research about consciousness as well as ancient Chinese culture, philosophy and medicine. I ongoingly give talks at the annual Gebser Society Conference to share my findings. I have published 'Outside of Time' a book about 10 years of shamanic study in Peru and I'm currently creating online courses for healers about alchemy and generative consciousness.
We are on the precipice of an intense shift in consciousness that is wanting to 'irrupt' forth. As chaotic and fragmented as things are at present, I believe current events are serving as necessary catalysts to the new integral state that is forming. Each of us has an important role in its ultimate manifestation. I have a master degree of Business and graduated from University of Cologne in Germany. I began an eclectic solo private practice of psychotherapy in 1981. Starting out on your own in those days required a great deal of creativity. I basically agreed to work with whomever found their way to my small office in a working-class neighborhood south of Boston. I practiced continuously there for over 40 years, only closing for COVID. I continue to virtually see clients privately a couple days a
week.
Early on there was no internet, no cell phones, just word of mouth to bring in new clients. Without knowing it I was actually practicing as a life coach before that was a thing. Helping adults, teens, children, couples, and families to move past where
they were blocked and suffering, not just emotionally but physically, financially, professionally and spiritually, required me to continuously engage in
multidisciplinary training. I had to read widely and learn the latest theories and
techniques. I promptly introduced my new learnings to my clients and they healed, grew, and prospered. I now work with the some of the grandchildren of those early clients.
In 1983 I met Dr. Gilligan and began to work with him. His style fit perfectly with
my unconventional bent. I blossomed under his tutelage and he remains my
primary teacher. During these 40 years, Steve’s work has evolved tremendously
and I am forever grateful to be one of his students.
In 2024 I was a Team Leader in the first year long CIMA certification course. Today
my passion is helping with the formation of the new CIMA Professional
Organization, which has afforded me the opportunity to meet and collaborate with many of Steve’s international colleagues and students.

Abbe Miller, Ph.D. | Connecticut
Abbe Miller, PhD, ATR-BC, LPC has practiced transformational art therapy for over 40 years. She has been attending Stephen Gilligan’s supervision intensives for over 30 years and has been an artist-in-residence for the Advanced Creative Mind Certification and CIMA workshop seminars. Abbe recently participated in CIMA’s Training Circle to lend her visioning to this newly formed community. She is an artist-art therapist who uses her original el Duende one-canvas layering process of re-working imagery as it emerges. Abbe is a professor of art therapy and former Director of a Graduate Art Therapy Program in her home state of Connecticut, USA. She has authored several book chapters and journal articles, and is currently working on a book project that celebrates response art. She delights in guiding art-based workshops around the world, maintaining a private art therapy practice, supervising, and offering intensives in the EDPP one-canvas method. Abbe’s recently published deck of oracle cards Soror Mystica: Mysterious Sister Within, blends her original artwork with transpersonal and feminist-spirituality theory, placing creativity at the heart of healing.
